Aluminum signs are the most practical, weather-resistant signage option for Webster Groves business owners who need a sign that looks sharp year after year. With Missouri’s swings from humid summers to icy winters, your exterior signage takes a beating, and aluminum handles it better than almost any other material. Horizon Sign Company designs and fabricates custom aluminum signs right here in the St. Louis metro, and we deliver to Webster Groves businesses fast.
Horizon Sign Company has been building signs for St. Louis area businesses for years, and we know what works in this market. We handle everything in-house, from design to fabrication to installation, which means fewer delays and more control over quality. When you work with us, you talk to the people who actually make your sign, not a middleman.
Webster Groves has strict municipal codes for commercial signage, and we have experience navigating those requirements so your sign gets approved without back-and-forth. If you are also looking at choosing the right outdoor business signs, we can walk you through every option and help you pick what fits your building and budget.
We have worked with restaurants, retailers, offices, and property managers across the metro. Our project portfolio includes everything from single-panel aluminum signs to full multi-sign systems designed to convert more customers. We bring that same attention to detail to every Webster Groves project.
PVC (plastic) signs cost less upfront, but they warp and yellow over time, especially in the heat and humidity Webster Groves sees from June through September. Aluminum signs hold their shape, resist rust, and keep their color for years without maintenance. For a temporary promotion, PVC can work. For anything permanent, aluminum wins.
Aluminum is also significantly lighter than steel or wood while being just as rigid. That makes it easier to mount on brick storefronts, fences, and posts without heavy-duty hardware. It also means lower installation costs and less strain on your building facade.
Horizon Sign Company works with both materials, but when business owners ask us for a sign that will still look new in five years, we almost always recommend aluminum. It is the smarter long-term investment for any Webster Groves storefront or commercial property.
We serve business owners throughout Webster Groves, from the shops along Big Bend Boulevard and Lockwood Avenue to offices near Old Orchard and the Webster Groves MetroLink station area. Our service area extends into neighboring communities like Kirkwood, Shrewsbury, Rock Hill, Crestwood, and Maplewood. If you are in Kirkwood and looking for a sign maker, we cover that too.
Whether your business is on a quiet side street or a high-traffic corridor, we design aluminum signs sized and positioned for maximum visibility in your specific location.
A properly finished aluminum sign typically lasts 7 to 10 years or more outdoors in the St. Louis climate. Aluminum resists rust and corrosion, which is critical given Missouri’s freeze-thaw cycles and summer humidity. UV-protective laminates on printed graphics help prevent fading. With minimal maintenance, your sign stays sharp for years.
Yes, aluminum signs are permitted for commercial use in Webster Groves, but you must comply with the city’s sign ordinance regarding size, placement, and illumination. Horizon Sign Company is familiar with Webster Groves municipal codes and can help you submit a compliant application. We handle the details so your sign gets approved quickly.
Absolutely. Aluminum works for exterior building signs, parking signs, directional signs, and ADA-compliant interior signs. It is lightweight enough for wall mounting indoors and durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. Many Webster Groves businesses use aluminum for a consistent look inside and out.
Most custom aluminum signs are completed within 5 to 10 business days after design approval. Complex projects with multiple signs or special finishes may take slightly longer. Horizon Sign Company keeps you informed at every stage so there are no surprises with your timeline.
